“Marisa’s Lunch” weekly for seniors living in isolation

Every Tuesday at 12:00pm, CRAIC holds a community lunch for seniors living alone and at risk of isolation. The lunch helps to relieve loneliness, providing a cheerful atmosphere and opportunity to try typical Italian cuisine (transport is provided on request and based on availability).

Group excursions and trips

Occasionally, CRAIC organizes group outings and trips for its members. Outings and trips vary in duration and prices are modest. These activities provide seniors with an opportunity to travel safely with CRAIC’s staff.

Bocce and pétanque tournament

Throughout the summer, CRAIC’s Golden Age Clubs meet to play the traditional Italian game of bocce and have even reached the professional and competitive levels.

Mini-Olympics

Every summer from the first week of June until the end of September, the Active Living Committee organizes a series of outdoor sports activities to promote the well-being of our seniors. Activities take place Tuesday mornings at Jarry Park. The Mini-Olympics provide a great opportunity to enjoy the good weather and have fun together.
